Alicia is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who founded Family Bridges, an International non-profit focused on family strengthening and professional development operating in Chicago, Phoenix, Wisconsin, and several Latin American countries. She is author of Working with Latino Individuals, Couples, and Families published by the National Resource Center for Healthy Marriage and Families, Romance Perpetuo, a resource workbook for Latino couples, and co-author of The Struggle Is Real: Modern Parenting, a book and multi-media podcast.
Alicia is on the board of directors of FamilyLife and serves as an advisory board member to two other national not-for-profit organizations. She served for four years on the Hispanic Research Work Group within the Administration of Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
